Alexander Schönberg studied music for 15 years before he came to photography in October 2015, on the recommendation of a doctor „just more walking“. An hour later, he held his first camera in his hands. Through photography, he has the opportunity to capture his personal perspective on scenes and objects of everyday life, making the images more and more a medium of his communication with the world. It has become a necessity for Alexander to communicate his feelings and ideas through his photographic work to other people. The diversity of feedback on the individual works represents the greatest attraction of his work.
In his works, Alexander tries to capture the everyday scenes of a city, which also shape them under the typical weather conditions that prevail there. His works are difficult to assign a particular direction, it is most of a mixture of architecture, street, fineart and people. It is very important for him that the pictures tell a story, even if it is sometimes only a sentence, often using a human as a stylistic device.
